Seasonal Part Time Transportation Driver (Contract 1099)

Driver Position – Use Your Own Vehicle and Smartphone! (Just like Uber and Lyft)

We’re looking for responsible and friendly drivers to safely transport clients to and from their appointments using their own vehicle. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Transport passengers safely and on time to their destinations
• Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety standards
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist passengers as needed
• Keep your vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow assigned routes and schedules accurately
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and team members

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL or Class E driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and assist passengers with belongings when necessary
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
• Paratransit experience a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Requirements:

• Must have a 4-door sedan, minivan, or suv in good condition
• Must have a smartphone to download and use work-related apps
• (Just like Uber and Lyft)

Compensation:

• $1.00 base pay per rider
• $1.40 per loaded mile
• Toll reimbursement when applicable
• Potential for permanent hire and career advancement
