Optometric Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an optometric technician to join our busy and progressive team of doctors and staff. We are a well-established private practice in Norfolk, VA that pride ourselves in offering exceptional patient care in a welcoming, friendly environment.
Prior experience in a medical or eye care office is required. Responsibilities include gathering patient medical history, performing diagnostic testing, assisting the doctors during examinations, training patients on insertion and removal of contact lenses and sale of contact lenses.
We employ electronic medical records and state-of-the-art technology, therefore need an individual who is at ease with technology and can learn quickly and easily.
This is a rewarding position for someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, detailed oriented and customer service focused. Only candidates with a strong work ethic and positive attitude should apply.
