We are seeking an energetic, organized, and motivated Assistant Center Director to help lead operations and support enrollment growth at iCode Glen Ellyn, a STEM education center focused on coding, robotics, and technology programs for K–12 students.

The Assistant Center Director will work closely with the Center Director/Owner to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, deliver an exceptional student and parent experience, support local marketing initiatives, and help grow student enrollment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families, managing programs, supporting staff, and being part of a mission-driven educational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support student enrollment efforts and assist in achieving monthly/quarterly growth targets
  • Assist with daily center operations including scheduling, staffing coordination, and program support
  • Help maintain relationships with local schools, PTAs, and community organizations
  • Support local marketing and outreach initiatives including events, partnerships, camps, and after-school programs
  • Ensure a high-quality experience for students and parents by providing excellent customer service
  • Assist with administrative functions including CRM management, reporting, attendance tracking, inventory, and payroll coordination
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional learning environment
  • Provide operational support during classes, camps, events, and peak hours
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and supporting instructional staff
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, scheduling, and program recommendations

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership, administrative, customer service, or educational support role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with parents, students, and staff
  • Comfortable discussing programs, memberships, and enrollment options with prospective families
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Passion for working with kids, education, and technology
  • Experience in education, enrichment programs, retail management, or youth programs preferred
