Restaurant General Manager - QSR / Wendy's

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead operations for a high-volume Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) in Waterloo, NY.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned restaurant leader who knows how to build strong teams, drive sales and profitability, maintain operational standards, and deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who leads by example, develops people, and takes ownership of the restaurant's overall performance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety
• Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and develop restaurant team members
• Build an accountable, motivated, and team-oriented culture
• Manage restaurant financial performance, including P&L, sales, labor, food costs, and controllable expenses
• Drive sales and profitability while achieving company performance goals
• Oversee ordering, inventory, product availability, and waste control
• Ensure compliance with operational policies, food safety regulations, and health standards
• Monitor service speed, accuracy, and overall guest experience
• Build positive customer relationships and resolve guest concerns professionally
• Analyze restaurant performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement
• Develop future leaders and support internal career advancement
• Lead by example in a high-energy, fast-paced QSR environment

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4+ years of General Manager experience in a QSR environment
• Experience with Wendy's or a comparable high-volume QSR concept strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of P&L management, food/labor cost control, ordering, and inventory
• Proven ability to recruit, schedule, train, coach, and develop restaurant teams
• Demonstrated success driving sales, profitability, and operational performance
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and QSR operating standards
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated, accountable, and hands-on leadership style
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
