Join our dynamic property management team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties as an office administrator. If you are an organized professional with a passion for providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you. Spanish is a plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming payments, including receiving checks and applying tenant payments in the system.
  • Act as the point of contact for tenants regarding rent payment status and inquiries.
  • Reconcile credit card transactions and assist with resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate with and support employees.
  • Establish and maintain good relations with tenants.
  • Maintain and update resident files.
  • Communicate with management, residents, vendors, and all outside contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn property management software (training provided).
  • Communicate, verbally and written, with tenants, clients, and others.
  • Ability to scan, make, fill in, and amend PDF forms.
  • Grab mail at the post office.
Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, supervisors, and vendors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism when interacting with tenants.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with email communication, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a major plus; not required.
  • Experience in property management is a plus.
We are located in Suffern, NY. You must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required).
