About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to build strong relationships and support each child’s learning journey.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom that promotes exploration and creativity.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to assistant teachers and support staff.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and implement them in the classroom.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
- AS degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or CDA.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a lead teaching role within an early childhood setting.
- Valid state teaching license or certification in early childhood education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
- Passion for nurturing and guiding young learners in a supportive environment.
- Ability to create and maintain a positive classroom culture.
- Knowledge of child development principles and early learning standards.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
