Medical Assistant

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our growing team as a Medical Assistant in our Meadville, PA office.

This position will include all clinical functions in a physician’s office.

To include but not limited to:

-rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, cleaning rooms and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control.

-Assisting the physician with treatments

-maintaining medical information in accordance with all HIPPA laws.

-filing patient information, answer phones, scheduling patients as needed.

-maintaining and ordering supplies, restocking rooms

-obtaining histories and vitals from patients

-Assist patients as needed from waiting room to preparing for doctor visit (push wheelchair, help remove or apply socks/shoes if patient is unable to).

MINIMUM EDUCATION IN THE MEDICAL FIELD, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Preferred graduate of a health program, however medical office experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.

Must be able to communicate with patients, staff and physicians.
