Job Summary

The Inventory / Tool Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining an organized tool room, managing inventory levels, and ensuring all parts and tools are accurately tracked. This role requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast‐paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory accuracy — perform regular counts, track stock levels, and ensure all parts are properly logged.
• Organize the tool room — maintain a clean, structured workspace and ensure tools and parts are easy to locate.
• Order parts and supplies — place orders as needed, monitor usage, and prevent shortages.
• Maintain part records — update spreadsheets, logs, and inventory systems with accurate information.
• Assist team members — issue tools, locate parts, and support daily operational needs.
• Use computer systems — access spreadsheets, update inventory files, and manage digital records.
• Ensure compliance — follow company procedures for tool handling, inventory control, and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills; able to navigate spreadsheets and inventory software.
• Experience in inventory, warehouse, tool room, or parts management preferred.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize parts and tools as needed.
