Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist primary teacher with activities and instruction
- Maintain records of student progress and needs
- Help keep learning areas tidy and safe
- Provide a welcoming, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
- Support children with special or individual needs
- Support teachers in managing class behavior
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a licensed educational environment
- A passion for early childhood education and helping children grow in positive ways
- Excellent communication skills
- First Aid and CPR certification - Preferable
- Valid food handling permit - Preferable
At this time, anyone coming into Maple Lawn Montessori will need to pass a temperature check before entering our building, and anyone over the age of 2 yrs are expected to wear masks.
