We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Marietta! Position works closely with, and under the supervision of a physician to provide patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and education to patients regarding health maintenance and treatment plans
- Perform medical treatments while adhering to hematology and oncology protocols, to include bone marrow biopsies
- Hospital rounds
- Dictation
- Other duties in support of the physician and patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous oncology and hematology experience as a physician assistant a plus
- Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented with good time management skills
