Maine Comprehensive Pain Management is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pain Management Physician to join our dedicated team in Scarborough, ME. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic and acute pain conditions
- Perform interventional pain procedures including nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections, Radiofrequency Ablations, Platelet Rich Plasma, and Botox
- Non-opioid pain management protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Neurosurgery, physical therapists, and referring physicians
- Monitor and adjust patient treatment plans through regular follow-up appointments and outcome tracking
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on pain management strategies, treatment options, and expectations
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school (Required)
- Board certification or eligibility in Pain Management and/or Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or Neurology (Preferred)
- Active Maine medical license or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Maine (Required)
- Fellowship training in Pain Medicine (strongly preferred)
- Experience with interventional pain procedures and fluoroscopic-guided injections (preferred)
- DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach
