Job Summary
We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team! In this role, you will make a difference in the community and in the lives of people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.
General Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- 18 years of age or older.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Must have a reliable transportation, valid driver's license, current auto insurance and DMV printout stating a clean record with NO DUI or Reckless Driving convictions (Assistance with arranging transportation).
- Provide companionship and conversation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
- First aid and CPR certified
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
