NOW HIRING – CHILDCARE TEACHERS

Sunrise Childcare and Learning Center – Columbus, OH

We are looking for reliable, caring, and energetic teachers to join our childcare team. We are currently hiring for the following positions:

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Toddler Teacher – Full-Time

  • Monday–Friday
  • 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Preschool Teacher – Full-Time

  • Monday–Friday
  • 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Infant Teacher – Part-Time

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays ONLY
  • 2:00 PM–7:00 PM

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Applicants should:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be dependable and arrive to work on time
  • Enjoy working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool-age children
  • Be patient, caring, positive, and professional
  • Be able to maintain active supervision of children at all times
  • Communicate well with children, parents, and coworkers
  • Be comfortable helping with classroom routines, meals, diapering/toileting, cleaning, and activities as appropriate for the age group
  • Be able to plan and participate in age-appropriate learning activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
  • Be willing to complete all required training and meet Ohio child care employment requirements
  • Be able to pass all required background checks

Previous childcare or early childhood education experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teachers will be responsible for:

  • Providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
  • Supervising children and following required staff-to-child ratios
  • Leading age-appropriate educational and play-based activities
  • Following daily classroom schedules and routines
  • Maintaining classroom cleanliness and organization
  • Communicating professionally with parents and families
  • Working as a team with other teachers and center leadership
  • Following all center policies and Ohio child care requirements
