Job Description
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Organizing and overseeing jobsite administration
· Organizing and coordinating field operations
· Assisting in the development, monitoring, updating, and communicating the project schedule and its periodic revisions
· Managing the direct labor force and maintaining labor relations on-site
· Managing subcontractor schedules, quality-of-work, coordination with other trades, and payments
· Creating and maintaining a safe/secure jobsite environment
· Quality Control of the project
· Establishing and maintaining relationships with the Owner, design professionals, building officials, local businesses, and police and fire departments
· Daily Reports
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Must be able to work with government and non-government personnel in a professional and clear manner. Be able to work with different trades and construction focuses to ensure a quality environment without limiting the trades ability to complete work. Must be able to properly communicate over the phone and in writing to upper management to include Subcontractors, Suppliers, Onsite Staff, Owners, other PM’s, Superintendents, and Corporate Safety.
Qualifications
- OSHA 30 hours Training
- Corps Of Engineers training a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent plan and specification reading skills
- Well-developed organizational skills
- Honest
- Dependable
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must pass government security clearance standards
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen test if hired
- Good driving record, valid license - insurable through the company
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
Preferred
- Experience in Federal government construction
- BS/BA Degree
- LEED Training / Corps Of Engineer Training
- Experience in Primavera Expedition preferred
- Experience in Bluebeam preferred
- Scheduling knowledge – Primavera P6 experience preferred
- Ground up and remodel experience
