Summary:
Wayne Alarm Systems is seeking an organized and motivated Installation Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Installation Department. This position coordinates among customers, technicians, Sales, Operations, and the Parts Department to help ensure installation projects are properly scheduled, prepared, communicated, and completed efficiently.
The successful candidate will develop experience in technician coordination, customer scheduling, project logistics, installation workflows, and process improvement. Based on successful performance, demonstrated readiness, business needs, and the availability of future opportunities, this position may provide a pathway toward increased operational and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison between sales, operations, and our customers to coordinate and effectively manage installation projects.
- Manage technician schedules and optimize efficiency.
- Communicate with customers regarding appointment confirmations, updates, and project timelines.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and job readiness requirements with our parts team.
- Monitor installation progress daily and ensure projects remain on schedule and budget.
- Maintain accurate records in company software systems.
- Assist with permit tracking, inspections, and project documentation when required.
Operations Support:
- Work closely with Operations Management to improve efficiency and workflow processes.
- Assist with technician performance tracking, efficiency tracking, and job completion reporting.
- Help resolve scheduling conflicts and customer- or project-related issues.
- Participate in operational planning meetings and process improvement initiatives.
- Learn all aspects of installation operations to prepare for future leadership responsibilities.
Leadership Development Opportunities:
- Assist in supervising field personnel and installation teams.
- Support training and onboarding of new employees.
- Develop skills in workforce planning, resource allocation, and departmental management.
- Assist in budgeting, reviewing financials, and gaining a full understanding of business operations.
- Develop toward increased operational and leadership responsibilities based on performance, demonstrated readiness, business needs, and the availability of future opportunities.
Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, operations, project management, or a related field. Relevant experience and demonstrated performance may be considered in place of formal education.
- Experience in scheduling, dispatching, project coordination, or operations support.
- Experience in the alarm, security, construction, telecommunications, or service industries.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience.
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in operations management.

Physical Demands:
- This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and requires prolonged periods of working at a computer and communicating by telephone and email. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- Full-time.
- Monday through Friday.
- 40 hours weekly.
Work Location:
- This is an in-person position located at our Woburn office.
