Early Childhood Teachers

We are currently interviewing DCFS Early Childhood teacher qualified applicants to work with children ranging in age from six weeks to four years old and /or from five to twelve years old. Trinity Day Care is a not for profit organization, licensed through DCFS and recognized by ExceleRate Illinois with the Silver Circle of Quality. We offer a nurturing work environment for our children and our teachers. We work together to facilitate a developmentally appropriate, stimulating, and active learning environment for children six weeks through twelve years of age. Key duties of Teacher:

• Model nurturing interaction, initiation and encouragement of children in activities throughout the day.
• Lead in providing a safe, clean, child-oriented and family friendly environment.
• Collaborate to create and carry out lesson plans based on the children's interests and learning goals.
• Participate in child screening, assessment, and record keeping practices.
• Facilitate positive and effective communication, fostering productive relationships with team members, children and parents.
• Have fun and enjoy building positively into the lives of little people and their families!
