Development Specialist Compensation

  • Pay rate: $27.39 per hour

Development Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Support workforce development, training, and learning management systems for the Workforce Development team
  • Provide administrative support for training records, documentation systems, and training content
  • Monitor and follow up on documentation and training change requests
  • Maintain and update documents using established software, standards, styles, and templates
  • Edit and proofread technical and training documentation for accuracy and consistency
  • Work with subject matter experts and content owners to maintain accurate documentation
  • Store documents in appropriate repositories and follow established data management requirements
  • Maintain documentation system data and ensure information remains accurate and up to date
  • Follow learning administration and training content standards
  • Monitor and follow up on training requests
  • Audit and update training content and assignments within the learning management system
  • Create and manage on-the-job training (OJT) certifications for controlled documents
  • Support the organization and maintenance of training materials and records
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to create, update, and maintain documentation and training materials

Development Specialist QUALIFICATIONS:

Workforce Development & LMS Specialist Requirements

  • 2 years of experience writing technical documentation for new systems, equipment, or processes
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and follow established documentation and training processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Workforce Development & LMS Specialist Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience working in a semiconductor or highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing training records, controlled documentation, or OJT certifications
