HOTSIDE COMMERCIAL COOKING EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

The Hotside Commercial Cooking Equipment Technician specializes in installing, maintaining, and repairing key kitchen appliances such as ovens, ranges, fryers, grills, refrigeration units, and full kitchen systems. This role demands a fast-paced approach to handle a high volume of service calls, performing technical diagnostics and system testing while ensuring safety compliance. The technician works closely across departments and frequently travels locally, utilizing mobile apps for documentation and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial cooking equipment including ovens, fryers, grills, and refrigeration units
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform system diagnostics and testing
• Replace parts and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
• Provide customer support and coordinate cross-department efforts
• Comply with safety standards and regulations throughout all procedures
• Document maintenance activities using mobile apps and field tools
• Manage a high volume of fast-paced service calls with local travel

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in commercial cooking equipment maintenance
• Technical certification in appliance repair or electronics
• Proficiency in mechanical repair and electrical systems
