Caregiver

At Integrity Residential Care we are looking for caregivers to help clients with everyday activities, from cooking, cleaning, and engaging with residents, families and community resources. Other essential duties and responsibilities include: • Serving as a companion to our residents • Medication management and passing • Preparing meals, cooking, and serving meals • Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills • Exceptional communication skills • Ability to work as a team • Performing housekeeping duties, such as cleaning resident rooms, keeping the entire home clean and presentable, laundry, dishes, and trash to name of few • Providing bathing and dressing assistance • Providing oral care, hair care and nail care • Keeping proper care records and reporting changes to the day shift team lead and/or administrator • Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities • Following patient care plan • Communicate effectively and professionally with families, co-workers, community resources, doctors, nurses, management, and owner • Assisting with transfer and mobility • Assisting with maintaining grocery list • Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment We are looking for hard working and dedicated employees that possess the following traits: • Patience • Respect • Dignity • Accountability • Transparency • Compassionate • Friendly • Understanding • Exceptional Listener • Positive • Encouraging • Empathetic • Attentive • Trustworthy
