Lead Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team! This individual will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s growth in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment
• Develop and follow daily schedules that include physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and families
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s development and progress
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or a related field (required)
• Comfortable with all aspects of childcare, including diapering and toileting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and attentive
• Strong classroom management and the ability to build rapport with children
• Positive, patient, and dependable demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Education Requirement: College coursework with at least 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) credits
