KSTAR INC is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff to join our team in Kerrville, TX for both 1st and 2nd shifts! Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility
- Monitor and document client health, behavior, and progress in accordance with care plans
- Administer medications and follow prescribed health protocols as directed
- Assist clients with community integration, recreational activities, and social engagement
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, healthcare professionals, and family members regarding client needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment for all individuals in care
- Respond appropriately to behavioral situations using approved intervention techniques
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in direct care, caregiving, or a related human services field preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift, including weekends and holidays as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
