Medical Assistant Certified

We are seeking a Medical Assistant Certified to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Enter patients vitals and reason for visit into EMR
• Work with multiple providers including ENT and Allergy
• Administer allergy injections
• Order testing such as MRI, CT, barium swallow, etc.
• Answering a multi-line phone and schedule patients
• Communicate with insurance companies for prior authorizations
• Must travel between our Duluth and Snellville locations

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
• Strong customer service skills and friendly demeanor
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
