Retail QC

We are seeking a detail-oriented Retail Quality Control (QC) Inspector to inspect products and ensure they meet company and customer quality standards before being shipped or placed on the sales floor. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to identify product defects or discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming, outgoing, and finished retail products for quality and accuracy.
• Check products for defects, damage, labeling, packaging, and overall appearance.
• Verify product quantities, SKUs, sizes, colors, and other specifications against orders or documentation.
• Identify and document damaged, defective, or non-conforming merchandise.
• Separate and properly label products that do not meet quality standards.
• Perform random and scheduled quality inspections.
• Maintain accurate QC records, inspection reports, and documentation.
• Communicate quality issues and discrepancies to supervisors and other departments.
• Assist with investigating recurring quality issues and identifying possible causes.
• Ensure products are handled, packaged, and stored according to company standards.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality control, retail, warehouse, manufacturing, or inspection preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify product defects and inconsistencies.
• Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and product specifications.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift products as required.
• Familiarity with SKU numbers, purchase orders, packing lists, and product specifications.
• Experience using Excel or other inventory/quality tracking systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
