Staffing Specialist

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated Staffing Specialist to join our Mesa branch team. This role is responsible for recruiting, screening, and placing qualified temporary and long-term workers while providing excellent customer service to both clients and job seekers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about connecting people with meaningful work opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of light industrial and skilled labor positions
• Match qualified workers to client job orders based on skills, experience, and availability
• Conduct in-person candidate check-ins and dispatch workers daily
• Maintain accurate candidate records in company database and applicant tracking systems
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience from application to placement
• Assist with job postings across multiple channels (job boards, social media, community outreach)
• Coordinate drug screens, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements
• Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis to handle urgent staffing needs
• Support the Branch Manager with client communication, order fulfillment, and daily operations
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws, company policies, and safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
• 1-2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or customer service (staffing agency experience a plus)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn applicant tracking systems
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends
