Parts Counterperson

Wise Heavy Equipment is seeking a full-time Parts Counterperson to deliver excellent customer service and support our parts department. Experience in the automotive, trucking, or equipment parts industry is preferred. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, self-motivated, and willing to assist wherever needed. We are a family-owned Volvo Construction Equipment dealer based in Omaha, proudly serving customers throughout Nebraska and surrounding areas. All inquiries will be kept confidential. Salary range: $55,000–$62,500, with potential for a substantially higher salary based on relevant industry experience.

Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

Parts Sales and Customer Support

• Manage the parts sales process from start to finish
• Provide timely updates to customers regarding parts availability and order status
• Answer department phone calls and assist walk-in customers with price quotes, product information, and parts inquiries

Parts Lookup, Inventory, and Fulfillment

• Learn and use electronic/digital parts catalogs to accurately identify and locate parts
• Pull, fill, and process customer and shop orders from stock
• Perform weekly bin checks to help maintain accurate inventory records
• Prepare orders for daily shipment or customer pickup
• Receive, organize, and label incoming parts
• Maintain accurate inventory and restock shelves as needed
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including:
  • Background check
