Journeyman Millwright

The Journeyman Millwright plays a crucial role in maintaining, installing, and repairing industrial equipment with precision and safety in mind. Working primarily on a small team of 2-5, this role demands hands-on skills in equipment installation, welding, and pipe fitting while adhering to strict safety protocols. The position operates mainly during day shifts, with occasional regional travel required, emphasizing both technical expertise and teamwork in dynamic industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed
• Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Fit pipes and conduct related pipe fitting operations
• Assist in rigging and flagging tasks for equipment movement

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications for Construction and General Industry
• NCCCO and NCCCER certifications in Rigging
• Strong mechanical repair and welding skills
• Advanced blueprint interpretation abilities
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
