Customer Service Clerk

Kuhn's Market is a local independent supermarket in Pittsburgh, PA. With 8 locations in the Greater Pittsburgh area, we are a part of the neighborhoods we serve, and proud to be a Pittsburgh Tradition. Our McKnight Road location in Pittsburgh's North Hills is currently seeking Customer Service Clerks to join our team! Up to $1,000 New Hire Bonus available! Advancement opportunities available!

Responsibilities:

• Process returns and exchanges
• Run lottery machine
• Oversee front end; manage break schedule and assign additional duties to cashiers and baggers as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate check-out services for our customers using computerized cash register systems.
• Assist in till and safe balancing.
• Keep the front-end area clean and well-stocked.
• Assist in general stocking and other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register
• Accuracy and basic math skills are important, as is the ability to memorize product identification codes and weekly ad specials.
• Ability to effectively communicate, delegate and multitask
• Must be able to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with assistance.

• Hours: Flexible schedules, up to 40 hours/week
