As an Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role involves working both independently and collaboratively within a team to deliver quality automotive services. You will handle a steady workflow while addressing varied repair tasks, with occasional light travel required for training purposes.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics to identify vehicle issues accurately
- Conduct repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Perform routine engine tune-ups and brake service
- Interact professionally with customers to explain vehicle issues and services
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize repair processes
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in automotive repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- ASE Certification (a plus)
