As an Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role involves working both independently and collaboratively within a team to deliver quality automotive services. You will handle a steady workflow while addressing varied repair tasks, with occasional light travel required for training purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics to identify vehicle issues accurately
  • Conduct repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine engine tune-ups and brake service
  • Interact professionally with customers to explain vehicle issues and services
  • Maintain and organize tools and equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize repair processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in automotive repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • ASE Certification (a plus)
