Kraus Management is currently seeking an experienced Handyman for residential buildings in the Bronx.

Position summary: Perform repair work in apartments, building interior and exterior.

Responsibilities

· Carpentry: Replace/repair cabinets, countertops, closets, etc.

· Vacancy Preparation: Performs repair work required to restore apt. for new tenant

· Electrical: Performs electrical repairs in apt and common areas

· Plumbing/Boiler: repair/replace washers, leaks, minor pipe replacements, etc.

· Painting/Plastering: performs throughout the apartments and common areas

· Doors/Locks: Repair/Replace building entrance and apt. doors and locks

Job Type

· Full Time

· Union, 32 BJ

Qualifications

· Experience of 5 years or more working as a handyman or in building/apt construction

· Experience and permits, where required, in boiler, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance

· Must have own tools

· Must have valid NY driver’s license and vehicle

· Must be a team player with ability to take direction and multi task

· Polite with experience working in a customer service environment

· Must be reliable and able to complete task in allotted timeframe

Hours

· Weekend shifts required

· Some evening shifts required
