Quality Manager

RGBSI is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the implementation of IATF 16949, APQP, and AIAG Core Tools across the organization. This role will drive quality system development, certification readiness, cross-functional program management, and successful product launches while building internal capability through coaching and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IATF 16949 readiness and certification initiatives.
• Develop and implement APQP processes aligned with AIAG and customer requirements.
• Lead deployment of Core Tools including PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
• Conduct gap assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Manage cross-functional teams through product development and launch.
• Develop quality procedures, documentation, and process controls.
• Coordinate audits, management reviews, and certification activities.
• Train employees and leadership on IATF, APQP, Core Tools, and customer-specific requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field.
• Master's degree and relevant certifications (PMP, ASQ, Lean Six Sigma) preferred.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Automotive Quality, Manufacturing, or Program Management.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IATF 16949 implementation.
• Strong experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
• Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1, and Tier 2 automotive suppliers.
• Proven success managing cross-functional teams and product launches.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and AIAG Core Tools.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• IATF 16949 Lead/Internal Auditor Certification.
• PMP Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Experience leading successful IATF certification programs.
