Location: Neptune, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Practice Manager
Compensation: Hourly + Commission

Hours: ~ 8:00am - 4:00pm, Mondays - Fridays

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Licensed Medical Esthetician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various esthetic services and a commitment to providing exceptional patient experiences. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality treatments while ensuring patient satisfaction and promoting our range of products and services. The candidate will work alongside board-certified dermatologists and another licensed esthetician to provide results-driven skin care services tailored to patients' medical and cosmetic needs. We are seeking someone who is passionate about skin health, confident in educating patients, and experienced in working in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Duties

  • Provide customized esthetic treatments such as facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and acne treatments.
  • Perform advanced services including micro-needling and medical-grade treatments.
  • Deliver exceptional patient services, ensuring patient comfort and confidence throughout each visit.
  • Perform skin analysis and develop individualized treatment plans and skincare routines.
  • Educate patients on medical-grade skincare products and in-office procedures.
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation in the EHR system.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols.
  • Keep treatment areas clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service offerings and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate treatment records and charting in the EHR system.
  • Collaborate with medical and front office staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

  • Valid New Jersey State Esthetician License.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in a dermatology, and/or medical spa setting as a licensed esthetician.
  • Experience and certifications providing HydraFacial, dermaplaning, SkinPen micro-needling, and professional chemical peels.
  • Familiarity with acne treatments, rosacea care, and anti-aging protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of medical-grade skincare products.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with EHR systems is preferred.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor; commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Training period details to be discussed.


License/Certification:

  • SkinPen Certification (Required)
  • New Jersey Esthetician License (Required)
