Medical Assistant

We at Children's Health of Ocala are seeking qualified candidates to perform the following duties.

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Clean treatment rooms following patient examinations.
• Interview patients and parents to obtain their medical history.
• Record patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in EHR.
• Perform routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements and blood pressure checks.
• Administer Vaccines, perform CLIA waived labs
• Purchase and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Clean and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments.
• Properly dispose of contaminated supplies.
• Assist providers during procedures by handing over instruments and materials.
