Line cook

$500 Sign-on bonus, details discussed upon hiring. Thai Valley Kitchen is looking to add a line cook to our team. A qualified candidate will have the unique opportunity to learn the Thai cuisine but also the Thai culture. Experience with Thai cuisine is not necessary but a plus. Thai Valley Kitchen has been in operation for over twelve very successful years. We are one of the highest rated restaurants in the Charleston and Huntington markets that we serve. A candidate must possess the desire and ability to not only maintain our high rating but help the team to further improve all aspects of our operation and take direction from the head chef. Interested in improving their skills is a requirement and the continued strive to surpass our customer's expectations. This candidate will desire to be trained in all aspects of the kitchen duties including food preparation, food handling, kitchen cleaning, food cooking and food presentation.

Wages : Compensation based on experience

Basic food preparation

Ability to take direction from the head chef and be team orientated

Follow all sanitary and food safety guidelines

Ability to prepare all menu items

Clean kitchen equipment and set up restaurant for next day operation

Requirements: High School Graduate, restaurant experience not required but a plus.

Willingness to learn the kitchen and sanitary guidelines for serving food.

Good multitasking

Responsible and hard working.
