Essential Care Center is hiring dependable and compassionate Direct Care Staff (DSPs) to support adults with developmental disabilities in a behavioral residential home.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, supervision, and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Follow behavior plans and individual support plans.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, medications, appointments, and community outings.
• Complete required daily documentation and behavior data.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.
• Respond professionally to challenging behaviors using approved strategies.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass required background screening.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Experience with developmental disabilities or behavioral services preferred.
• Must be dependable, patient, professional, and willing to learn.

Essential Care Center, LLC (ECC) is a Port St. Lucie–based provider serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, with a strong focus on behavioral and residential support.

ECC provides services such as Intensive Behavioral Residential Habilitation, Life Skills Development, Companion Services, and behavioral supports.
