About the Role

Closets by Design is looking for motivated, customer focused Sales Designers to join our growing Columbus, OH team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys working directly with customers, understanding their needs, and creating customized solutions for their homes.

As a Sales Designer, you will meet with homeowners in their homes, understand their storage needs, present customized design solutions, and guide customers through the sales process from consultation to close.

What You'll Do

• Meet with homeowners for scheduled consultations
• Build rapport and identify customer needs
• Design customized closet, garage, home office, pantry, and storage solutions
• Present design options and pricing
• Develop and close sales opportunities
• Maintain consistent follow up with prospective customers
• Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process
• Maintain accurate customer information and activity in the CRM
• Work closely with the installation and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable conducting in home consultations
• Consultative and customer focused sales approach
• Strong organizational and follow up skills
• Self motivated and comfortable working independently
• Professional appearance and presentation
• Ability to learn product offerings and design software
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work evenings or weekends when needed
