Patient Intake Coordinator

Psychiatry Treatment Centers is looking for a talented Patient Intake & Referral Coordinator to join our team in the Beverly Grove area (Los Angeles)! We are seeing high-energy, friendly, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced team environment to join our growing office.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Screen new patients for intake appointments
• Build and maintain relationships with key referral sources
• Conduct community outreach with local providers and practices
• Schedule and assist with patient appointments
• Answer phone calls and return voicemails in a timely manner
• Assist with direct patient care as needed
• Support daily office administration tasks
• Follow best-practice protocols and uphold company policies
• Notify department leadership of any safety concerns
• Adhere strictly to all OSHA and HIPAA standards
• Ensure documentation accuracy and review patient health histories
• Obtain prior medical records from outside facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Prior patient intake or referral coordinator experience preferred
• Experience working in behavioral health settings preferred
• Familiarity with EMR systems and general knowledge of insurance plans and coverage
• Strong ability to multitask and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and team-oriented mindset
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally and empathetically with patients, staff, physicians, and leadership
