Registered Nurse (RN) - Delegating Nurse / Limited Nursing Oversight
Job Description
Elma Home Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide delegation services and limited nursing oversight for our assisted living facility serving adults with behavioral health and aging-related needs.
This is an ideal position for an RN looking for flexible supplemental income with minimal hours and a supportive working environment.
Position Overview
This role primarily involves:
Nurse delegation
Periodic resident assessments/reassessments
Staff training and competency oversight
Limited chart review/documentation support
Occasional care coordination and communication with providers/pharmacies as needed
The workload is intentionally light and may range from approximately 1–5 hours per month, depending on resident needs, admissions, and delegated tasks.
Schedule
Extremely flexible
Mostly self-scheduled
Minimal monthly hours
Opportunity for occasional additional hours if desired
Qualifications
Active Washington State RN license
Current Nurse Delegation certification preferred
Experience in assisted living, adult family home, behavioral health, geriatrics, or long-term care preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Compassionate, resident-centered approach
