Traveling Sales Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sit down with homeowners who already asked to see you.

No door knocking. No cold calling. No buying your own leads. Every appointment on your calendar is set by our team — a homeowner who requested the visit and is expecting you.

About the role

We built a reputation in residential solar. We’re expanding into home standby generators — backup power for families tired of losing electricity every time a storm rolls through. Shorter sales cycle than solar, easier conversation at the kitchen table, and demand is climbing.

You’ll travel with our team into markets across the country, run preset in-home appointments, and close.

The schedule: 12 days on, 12 days off

You deploy with the team for 12 days, then get 12 full days at home. That’s about half the year off. Our best reps use that time for family, side projects, or just recovery. If you need to be home every night, this isn’t the right fit — and we’d rather you know that now.

What we cover

• Gas and travel to market
• Hotel while you’re on the road
• Product training, financing tools, and CRM

What you earn

100% commission, uncapped.

No base salary. If you don’t close, you don’t earn. That’s the trade for preset appointments and half the year off.

You’ll do well here if you:

• Are genuinely fine being away from home 12 days at a stretch
• Are coachable — you’ll run our process, not your own
• Can hold a conversation with a married couple at their kitchen table
• Are competitive and motivated by money
• Have background in solar, roofing, pest, alarms, HVAC, auto, or timeshare (a plus — but we’ve trained plenty of people out of restaurants, construction, and the military)

This is not for you if you:

• Need to be home nightly
• Want a guaranteed paycheck while you learn
• Have anything in the next six months that makes 12-day trips difficult

Requirements

• 18+
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to get to Charlotte, NC for training and deployment
• Willing to travel out of state
• No sales experience required — we train
