Job Description
The Neurology Clinic was founded in 1992 exclusively to provided Neurology services to the Memphis area. Our clinic currently consists of nine neurologists and three nurse practitioners. All of our providers specialize in Neurology with one physician who specializes in Sleep. The position available would consist of working with one provider while assisting others as needed. You will need knowledge of EMR with having experience with eClinicalWorks a major plus. Other descriptions of the job include having knowledge of processing prior authorizations for medications and testing. Experience with patient care and good bedside manner. We are seeking a highly motivated person that is very dependable and willing to be a team player!
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative/clinical duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper authorization/billing
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Triage and enter patient data
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in clinic or hospital
- Familiarity with EMR- eClinical strong preference
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Full time position- Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p
Neurology practice with 9 MD's and 3 NP's.
