Location: Auburn Hills Engineering – 1250

Contract Dates: September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027

Pay Rate: $39.68/hour

Schedule: Full-time


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Master Vehicle Technician to diagnose, repair, inspect, and maintain Stellantis vehicles. This role requires advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, strong attention to quality and safety, and the ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to other technicians.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of automotive technician experience, current ASE Master Technician certification, strong computer and diagnostic abilities, and previous Chrysler/Stellantis product experience.


Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues on Stellantis vehicles.

• Perform vehicle repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality inspections.

• Conduct detailed inspections and complete quality control checks.

• Identify root causes of vehicle concerns and determine appropriate repair solutions.

• Mentor and train junior-level technicians on diagnostic and repair procedures.

• Maintain accurate and complete repair documentation.

• Follow all applicable safety procedures, manufacturer specifications, and quality standards.

• Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to customers and/or service advisors.

• Use diagnostic equipment, computer systems, and technical resources to support accurate repairs.

• Ensure completed repairs meet manufacturer and quality requirements.


Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of automotive technician experience.

• Current ASE Master Technician certification.

• Advanced vehicle diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong mechanical and electrical repair knowledge.

• Strong computer and diagnostic equipment skills.

• Valid driver's license.

• Must provide own professional tools.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.


Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Chrysler dealership training.

• Previous Chrysler/Stellantis product experience.

• Experience diagnosing advanced vehicle systems.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous experience mentoring or training other technicians.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced, hands-on automotive technician who can independently diagnose complex vehicle concerns, perform quality repairs, and serve as a technical resource for other technicians. Experience with Chrysler/Stellantis vehicles and dealership-level diagnostic procedures is highly valued.
