Duties
- Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care to residents with behavioral needs.
- Identify resident needs and implement and monitor individualized care plans.
- Facilitate behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and minimize challenging behaviors.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident progress and provide input to adjust care plans as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality of resident information.
- Provide training and support to staff on first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages professional development among staff members.
- Monitor Program documentation for compliance with TFA, Medicaid, and DBHDS licensure requirements.
- Program orientation, training, evaluation, and supervision of residential staff
- Be available to carry a company cell phone to resolve emergency issues and provide staff and resident's support
- Keep Program Director, Program Manager, and other applicable staff informed of resident and program needs, program issues, and emergencies, as needed.
