Assistant Store Manager

Job description

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all aspects of supermarket operations. Provides guidance and support to Department Heads and exemplifies the highest Customer Service standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in all areas of operations
• Maintain outstanding retail execution and customer service in the store.
• Assist in building a high-performance team
• Ensure compliance with all programs, policies and standards.
• Address scheduling needs and staffing levels
• Address customer concerns as necessary

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptable, enthusiastic, high energy
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
