Medical Assistant

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our small primary care pediatric team. You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients
• Collect vital signs and height and weight data
• Document information in electronic health record
• Perform point-of-care medical testing procedures as necessary
• Phlebotomy
• Engage with patients and parents to identify concerns and relevant health history through interviews and physical examinations
• Communicate information to patients regarding procedures and policies
• Maintain patient medical records
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain inventory of relevant supplies
• Maintain clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pediatrics
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to be part of a team
• Respect for patients and their parents
• Spanish
