Caregiver

$2.00 raise after 6 moths of full time (40+ hours) employment.

We are looking for a compassionate Caregiver to care for our 5 residents in a home like setting. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help the residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Medication administration and documentation.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Help with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the residents (when they are able)
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver a plus
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR). will provide training if needed
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
• High school diploma or equivalent

Current wages include $1.00 hazard pay due to the current pandemic. Raises are offered after one year. We offer medical, dental, and vision after 90 days. 40 hours of sick after 90 days.
