We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Adult Day Training (ADT) program. This role supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a structured, engaging daytime setting focused on life skills, socialization, and personal growth. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment with individuals who may have behavioral challenges.

This role supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a structured, engaging daytime setting focused on life skills, socialization, and personal growth. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment with individuals who may have behavioral challenges.
Duties:
- Provide supervision, support, and assistance to adult participants throughout the day
- Assist with daily activities, life skills, recreational activities, and group programming
- Support participants with communication, social interaction, and positive behavior
- Ensure participant safety and follow all program rules and procedures
- Document daily notes, incident reports, and activity participation as required
- Assist with meals, hygiene reminders, and mobility as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful environment
- Work collaboratively with other staff and follow direction from supervisors
- Document all care activities thoroughly and accurately while respecting confidentiality and privacy standards.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Must be 18 years+ required
- High School diploma or GED required
- CPR/First aid certification
- Must be able to work daytime hours Monday–Friday from 8am-2pm
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges preferred
- Must be patient, dependable, and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable managing behaviors in a calm and professional manner
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist participants throughout the day
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable and Punctual
