Job Description

HR Content Consultant | Dallas, TX | Contract

Love clean, clear communication? Want your work read by thousands of employees at one of the most recognized and best-loved airlines in the country? This is a chance to bring order, clarity, and a little bit of delight to how a major airline's people team talks to its workforce.

About the opportunity

A major Dallas-based airline, known industry-wide for its culture and its people-first reputation, is looking for an HR Content Consultant to join its People team on a 6-month contract. This is a hands-on content role: you'll partner directly with HR leaders across Employee Relations, Total Rewards, HR Compliance, HR Ops, HRBP, and People Systems to figure out what employees actually need to know, then make sure they can find it, understand it, and use it. If you like taking dense policy language and turning it into something a frontline employee can actually read in thirty seconds, this is your kind of work.

What you'll do

  • Partner with People leaders and subject matter experts to build content and communication strategies for HR initiatives
  • Translate complex, technical, or policy-heavy HR content into clear, employee-friendly messaging
  • Develop and maintain content across knowledge bases, intranet sites, employee portals, FAQs, and job aids
  • Build and maintain content standards, style guidelines, and templates so People content stays consistent
  • Audit existing content for gaps, duplication, and outdated information, and recommend fixes
  • Coordinate content review and approval processes to keep things accurate and on schedule
  • Track content effectiveness through feedback and usage data, and use it to keep improving

What we're looking for

  • Advanced-level experience in content strategy, content design, technical writing, knowledge management, or HR/People content development
  • Strong background in internal communications, employee engagement, or organizational communications
  • Experience managing content across intranet platforms, employee portals, or similar channels
  • Comfortable balancing business needs, compliance requirements, and what actually helps employees
  • High school diploma or GED required

The details

  • Contract Job
  • 4 days in-office/1 day remote
  • Must live in the DFW area to be able to work onsite
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
