Preschool Teacher
Job Description
The Preschool Teacher will support a small classroom setting by fostering a safe, nurturing, and productive learning environment. Reporting directly to the Center Director, this role focuses on educating young students through play-based activities and the Creative Curriculum, ensuring individualized support and positive classroom management.
Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom activities, play, and instruction
- Support communication between teachers and students
- Help maintain classroom order and manage student behavior
- Provide individual support to students as needed
- Monitor and assist students during transitions and activities
- Set up and maintain a positive learning environment
- Implement and support the Creative Curriculum in daily routines
- Serve as an appropriate role model for students
- Follow all MA EEC and TKP rules, regulations and policies
Qualifications
- MA EEC Preschool certified
- Successful completion of MA EEC Strong Start Essentials 2.0 training
- Successful completion of MA EEC background check
- CPR & First Aid qualified
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in early childhood education support roles
