Looking for an experienced automotive technician

We are seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our medium-sized team of 6-15 professionals. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive issues, including electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, and brake systems. The technician will work independently while also collaborating with a friendly team and reporting directly to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed diagnostics on automotive systems using scan tools
• Repair electrical and wiring issues effectively
• Conduct engine, transmission, suspension, and brake repairs
• Utilize diagnostic scan tools and service information proficiently
• Work independently to manage repair tasks
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality service
• Deliver excellent customer service

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and wiring systems
• Experience with engine, transmission, suspension, and brake repairs
• Proficient with diagnostic scan tools and service information
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Extensive experience in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems repair
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining teamwork
