Field Service Mechanic

Our team is currently looking for experienced Maintenance Technicians and Mechanics who can exceed our level of commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Successful candidates will perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, and extensive rehabilitation of our fleet of heating equipment while working on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience as a repair technician or mechanic
• Ability to work safely in a shop environment
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to pass DOT physical exam
• Acceptable driving history

Preferred Requirements:

• Two‐Year Relevant Technical Degree
• ASE Diesel Certification
• Corresponding Military Job Codes for Diesel Mechanics
• PEC SafeLand USA training

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks as scheduled or assigned in an efficient and cost-effective manner
• Perform troubleshooting and necessary repair of all equipment, including diesel engines and specialty heating systems
• Perform minor repairs on trucks and other equipment
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on equipment
• Operate and maintain a company service truck
