Job Summary
ScoopDoods is hiring a Pet Waste Technician to service residential properties throughout Arlington, Alexandria, and nearby surrounding areas. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and working independently throughout the day.
Technicians travel between customer homes in a company vehicle and remove pet waste from residential yards using provided equipment and providing excellent communication.

Outdoor, independent work environment
Schedule
Monday – Friday
Expect 7+ hours per day
Occasional Saturdays may be required depending on workload
Flexible structure within the workday as routes are completed
Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle to scheduled service stops
Remove pet waste from residential yards using company tools
Walk several miles throughout the day while completing routes
Ensure gates are closed and properties are left secure
Dispose of waste properly following company procedures
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and company vehicle
Provide professional and friendly customer service when needed
Requirements
Valid driver's license
Clean driving record
Ability to walk multiple miles per day
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
Comfortable working around dogs
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Must be able to lift and carry work equipment as needed
Work Environment
Primarily outdoor work
Driving between service stops throughout the day
Physical job involving walking, bending, and light lifting
Independent work with minimal supervision
